Dr. Ruiz began private practice in 2001 in his home town of Harrison, NJ.
He has since moved and developed a first class state of the art facility in Belleville, NJ.
The SpinalAid Center of Belleville is a “True Center of Excellence”, specializing in
Spinal Decompression Therapy and also utilizes Chiropractic and Physical Therapy treatment
to aid in the rehabilitation of spinal conditions. Dr. Ruiz is also certified in Nerve
Conduction Velocity (NCV) testing and is a Manipulation Under Anesthesia (MUA) physician
for more complicated conditions.
Prior to becoming a chiropractic physician, Dr. Ruiz attended Montclair State University
and eventually moved to Marietta Georgia where he attended Life University School of Chiropractic.
Dr. Ruiz is a professional member of the Association of New Jersey Chiropractors (ANJC) and the
American Chiropractic Association (ACA). He is also a member of the Suburban Essex Chamber of
Commerce (SECC) and a devoted Rotary Club member.
Dr. Ruiz is also a frequent guest speaker on the Spanish network ”Telemundo” Channel 47,
which broadcasts to the entire tri-state area. He trys to help patients by blogging frequently. His Spinal Decompression Blog covers topics such as, sciatica exercises, yoga and even high heels.
Dr. Ruiz is a proud parent of two children, Maximo and Angelina, and gives his thanks
everyday to his beloved wife Rosalie, who according to Dr. Ruiz is his main support system.
